Things continue to move along as we inch closer and closer to a completion date. We’re still discussing what the potential close date will be, but we are hopeful that we can stick to the initially proposed timeline and become Austinites in the very near future.
Recently, our amazing realtor Maria Curelli met with the construction manager to take the pre-sheetrock walkthrough. With the holidays and our travel to visit our friends and family, we just weren’t able to make it down ourselves. Thankfully, though, many pictures were taken and sent our way to highlight the progress!
Pipes, cables, heating vents, and all the hookups we could want are running throughout the house. Third-party inspections have been completed and City of Austin inspections should be coming this week.
After that? It’s time to put up some walls and begin to lay the brick for the exterior of the house!
For now, enjoy the photos of what the inside of our walls look like. These are pretty exciting for us but probably pretty damn boring for anyone else.
